The candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of all relevant governmental regulations, company policies, and standards, ensuring adherence to all rules and regulations.
Ensure availability and maintenance of operating instructions, manuals, regulatory publications, and decompression tables at the dive site, including but not limited to:
Brief divers on operational and contingency plans, maintain safety standards, oversee diving operations for compliance with legal and company standards, and ensure equipment adequacy and condition.
Prior to diving, review all personal dive equipment, inform relevant parties about diving operations, develop emergency procedures, ensure communication systems are functional, and perform job hazard analyses.
Verify that all equipment is suitable, inspected, and in good order, assign team duties, verify qualifications, assess divers' physical conditions, and conduct detailed briefings.
Maintain dive profiles, ensure continuous tending, and monitor diver safety during and after dives, including post-dive health checks and incident reporting.
Ensure proper planning, mobilization, and reporting of diving operations, and stand in as Dive Supervisor or Diver as needed.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by management, complying with company instructions and regulations.
