Job description

OxPay SG Pte Limited is a Major Payment Institute licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Along with OxPay’s licensed payment companies in Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, the group aims to become a payment powerhouse in Southeast Asia.


We invite a Payment-talent to join our growth journey as an Operations Assistant Manager/Manager (Fintech Payment). The role is based in Singapore with responsibilities across all business units.


Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the operation team effectively.
  2. Plan, execute, monitor, and review all operational processes aligned with business objectives.
  3. Lead and coordinate team members to meet organizational goals.
  4. Oversee operational management and reporting.
  5. Support team development and performance success.
  6. Continuously improve operational functions.
  7. Analyze data and report on progress against KPIs and objectives.
  8. Identify trends and communicate insights to drive action.
  9. Monitor system issues and facilitate their resolution.
  10. Develop and recommend corrective actions for operational issues.
  11. Engage with partners, service providers, merchants, and tech firms to foster strategic alliances.
  12. Manage relationships with partners and vendors involved in operations.
  13. Develop and update operational policies ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and contractual obligations.
  14. Contribute to product development and operational innovation.
  15. Monitor operational costs to maintain profit margins.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned.
  17. Demonstrate strong solution-oriented and decision-making skills.
  18. Exhibit organizational and presentation skills.
  19. Be resourceful, proactive, and maintain a positive attitude.
  20. Provide excellent customer service and seek continuous improvements.

Requirements:

  1. Degree holder with 3+ years of experience in payment operations.
  2. Experience in financial services, especially payments, is preferred.
  3. Knowledge of Credit/Debit, Alternative Payment Methods, EMV, mobile, and eCommerce payments.
  4. At least 1 year of team leadership experience.
  5. Proven ability to manage teams towards operational excellence.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Operational planning, analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
  8. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and clients.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report and presentation development.
  10. Conflict management and resolution skills.
  11. Systematic problem diagnosis skills.
  12. Technical aptitude with digital tools and mobile devices.
  13. Proficiency in spreadsheets, data analysis, and reporting.
  14. Integrity, dependability, sense of urgency, and attention to detail.
  15. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  16. Singaporean or PR status only.
  17. Available for immediate start.
  18. Willing to work a 5-day week.
