Job summary

Sime Motors is seeking an Operations Assistant (Driver) in Singapore to manage vehicle operations end-to-end, ensuring timely servicing, accurate records, smooth deliveries and collections, and high-quality handovers with complete customer satisfaction.

The role requires mandatory GCE O-Level, a valid Class 3 driving license, and at least 1 year of automotive maintenance experience. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are essential. Saturday work is part of a 5.5-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completed repair work aligns with approved quotations and all reported issues are resolved before vehicle handover.
• Follow up on outstanding issues and provide timely updates to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate delivery and collection of vehicles for customers, servicing, repairs, and rental activities.
• Conduct daily checks on vehicle cleanliness and condition before handover.
• Proactively identify vehicles due for servicing or maintenance and coordinate schedules with the team.
• Deliver and collect vehicles for servicing or maintenance.

What You’ll Be Doing

As anOperations Assistant (Driver), you’ll manage vehicle operations end-to-end, ensuring timely servicing, accurate records, smooth deliveries and collections, and high-quality handover with complete customer satisfaction.

• Ensure completed repair work aligns with approved quotations, and all reported issues are fully resolved before vehicle handover

• Follow up on outstanding issues and provide timely updates to ensure customer satisfaction

• Coordinate delivery and collection of vehicles for customers, servicing, repairs, and rental activities

• Conduct daily checks on vehicle cleanliness and condition (interior and exterior) before handover

• Proactively identify vehicles due for servicing or maintenance and coordinate schedules with the team

• Deliver and collect vehicle for servicing or maintenance

• Arrange and send vehicles for annual statutory inspections

• Ensure accurate recording of vehicle movements, replacement details, and customer acknowledgements record

• Assist customers with accident report submissions and promptly report any incidents or damages

• Maintain accurate records of daily petrol consumption

• Ensure all required documents are properly completed and signed prior to vehicle handover

• Provide daily updates on task completion and work status to the team

• Perform adhoc duties as assigned
  

Who We’re Looking For

• 5.5 Work Week (Saturday)

• GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent

• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving License

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive maintenance or related field

• Basic vehicle diagnostic skills are an advantage

• Good communication and coordination skills
