Job description

Job Title: Operations Assistant/Driver - Chennai

Overall Mission

Meet the expectations and needs of customers and clients. Ensure that pickups and deliveries are on time.

Main Responsibilities

1. Pick up shipments from customer sites and book them to the airport.
2. Ensure shipments are correctly packed and labeled to avoid damage.
3. Plan and schedule vehicle pickups and deliveries, ensuring completion at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled times.
4. Maintain and keep vehicles clean, equipped with safety kits, and record vehicle details accurately.
5. Deliver shipments and update POD (Proof of Delivery) details promptly to the Customer Service team.
6. Clean fridge/freezer units periodically.
7. Manage gel packs inventory and stacking as needed.
8. Prepare packaging for shipment pickups.
9. Update and monitor logs and registers regularly.

Experience & Education

HSC in any stream with more than 2 years of experience in the corporate sector. Freshers are also welcome.

Language Skills

English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, or any regional language is an advantage.

Specific Skills & Knowledge

• Ability to read, write, and understand English and Hindi.
• Knowledge of cold chain packaging and geographical areas.

Interpersonal Skills

Strong interpersonal and driving skills. Good team player.
