Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

  • Serve as the Operations and Maintenance lead for Customer Services (CS) managed by Siemens Mobility Pte Ltd (SMPL), i.e., Rail Infrastructures (RI) and Rolling Stock (RS).
  • Provide customers with technical and engineering support through both onsite and offsite means.
  • Support includes technical queries, fault investigation, defect troubleshooting, trend analysis, training, continuous improvement and/or rectification on installed bases in Singapore and ASEAN.
  • Act as the interface between SMO HQ and customers for peculiar technical and engineering issues.
  • Lead, project manage and collaborate with the various SMO entities regarding obsolescence management and treatments to sustain the systems, products and equipment.
  • Participate in customer and supplier meetings to ensure sustainability of the systems.
  • Project manage works on-site, covering working schedules and installation methods including forecasting equipment readiness, material delivery and estimated manpower required.
  • Plan and support work on-site and testing & commissioning when required.
  • Support local component testing and repair of equipment to ensure high reliability.
  • Support SMPL CS' sales and bid activities.
  • Strictly adhere to safety practices in the workplace.
  • To execute tasks assigned by the supervisor.

  • 5 years of railway depot and/or maintenance and operations experience for Electrification and/or Communications and/or Signalling and/or Rolling Stock and/or Depot Workshop Equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and manage customer expectations professionally.
  • Ability to lead troubleshooting of railway systems.
  • Ability to conduct training.
  • Interest in cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel and work in any ASEAN country for up to 3 weeks per trip.
