Job description

Job Summary:

This role ensures trades are accurately validated, settled, and reconciled within strict timelines, while maintaining robust control processes. The position also involves managing CLS operations, driving process enhancements, leveraging data for insights, and resolving exceptions with a high degree of ownership and professionalism.

Mandatory Skill-set:

  • Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market, and Non-Deliverable Forward (NDF) products;
  • Must have experience in trade validation, settlement, reconciliation, and control checks;
  • Familiarity with CLS (Continuous Linked Settlement) processes;
  • Must have proficiency in investigation, exception handling, and SME-level problem-solving;
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and timeliness.

Desired Skill-set:

  • Experience in cross-border, multi-entity trade operations (especially across APAC);
  • Exposure to process improvement initiatives and project implementation;
  • Ability to perform data discovery and generate actionable insights;
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying operational risks;
  • Good interpersonal skills to align with and promote the bank’s culture and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end trade processing support for FX, Money Market, and NDF products across Singapore, Australia, China, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong;
  • Ensure accurate and timely trade validation, settlement, reconciliation, control checks, investigations, and exception handling;
  • Perform end-to-end CLS control functions for FX CLS processes in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Korea;
  • Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives and projects, ensuring smooth implementation;
  • Conduct data analysis and SME-level problem-solving for operational issues;
  • Actively pursue data discovery opportunities to derive business insights;
  • Take ownership and accountability for resolving exceptions and operational challenges;
  • Promote and uphold bank culture and values in all aspects of work.
