KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • This is a role helping to manage business and data requirements required for migration of business activities from internal/existing service provider to a new service provider. The Operations analyst is responsible to work with the new service provide to support the analysis, cleansing of Transactional, Market, Reporting and Reference Data that resides in Aladdin and Various Platforms, ensuring the data is complete, consistent, and operational ready for the new operating model. This is an exciting opportunity to partake in driving the future operating model for Operations.

The Operations Analyst key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with Project team in supporting User Acceptance testing, Model office and Pilot testing
  • Design test scenarios and test scripts with the SMEs to ensure operational business processes in the Future Operating Model are capture for Data, Trades, Corporate actions, Reconciliation, Reporting etc
  • Perform Reconciliation on migration data to ensure consistency and be able to independently validate and explain differences
  • Draw up future business process maps and support the write up of future Standard Operating Procedures
  • Gather requirements from SMEs, stakeholders, applying effective elicitation methods/ standards/tools.
  • Analyze and validate requirements using a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Conducts impact assessment to identify the "as-is" processes, systems, and the "future" processes, systems, and structures.
  • Performs data analysis to cleanse & standardize data and to ensure data consistency and quality.
  • Performs gaps and resolutions analysis and ensures requirements are complete.
  • Documents requirement/processes using industry standard notations.
  • Maintains relationships with stakeholders and obtains formal signoff of all requirement documentation.
  • Liaises with service providers to ensure understanding of requirements and limitations of solutions.
  • Support any ad hoc analysis requirements for the workstreams

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Business/Finance or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience working in Operations in the Asset Management industry.
  • Experience using Aladdin, Multifond and other investment and accounting platforms.
  • Experience in Data Analysis and change management
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Knowledge of R & Python programming skills is a plus
  • Good understanding of Front Office, Trade Lifecycle and Operations processes
  • Excellent customer focus and high level of accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the small team.
