Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our IoT Growth and Strategy team. This role sits at the intersection of strategic planning and financial operations, offering exposure to both high-impact business initiatives and hands-on finance management. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in strategy, research, and data analysis, along with experience navigating finance and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

Workstream 1: Strategy & Project Support (70–80%)

  • Drive and support strategy projects within the IoT growth team, including B2B initiatives.
  • Conduct desktop research, quantitative analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Build clear, executive-ready pitch decks and strategic presentations.
  • Lead or contribute to high-impact workstreams that support the team's growth priorities.

Workstream 2: Finance, Budget & Procurement (20–30%)

  • Track and manage team budgets, invoicing, billing, and procurement activities.
  • Liaise with finance stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of financial processes and assist with audit preparation when necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Strong research capabilities and ability to create executive-level materials.
  • Comfortable building and interpreting Excel models for strategy and finance-related tasks.

Soft Skills

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Clear communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent and proactive; able to manage multiple workstreams and tight timelines.
  • Strong critical thinker with a structured approach to solving business problems.

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Nice to Have

  • Background in project management (certifications such as PMP or Agile/Scrum are a plus).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience collaborating in a matrix or cross-functional organization.
