Job summary

MICHAEL PAGE INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a senior risk professional to lead the operational risk framework across investments, treasury and payments. The role focuses on shaping governance, risk and control across the organisation and coordinating with key stakeholders.

You will conduct risk assessments, monitor KRIs, and drive remediation with independence and strong communication. This is a senior position reporting to the head of risk in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of Operational Risk experience in asset/investment environments.
• Strong experience across payment operations, transaction processing, settlement and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the Operational Risk framework across investment, treasury and payment-related activities.
• Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, RCSAs, KRIs and ongoing monitoring across key operational processes.
• Assess operational risks relating to payment activities, including transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation and associated controls.
• Identify control gaps, recommend practical enhancements and drive remediation initiatives with stakeholders.
• Provide Operational Risk guidance across investment and operational functions while supporting continuous improvement of the risk and control environment.

Our client is an established investment organisation with a diversified portfolio spanning multiple asset classes and investment activities. Based in Singapore, the organisation manages a broad range of investment and operational activities supported by strong governance, risk and control frameworks.

As part of its continued focus on strengthening its Operational Risk capabilities, the organisation is looking to appoint an experienced professional to join its Singapore team.

Job Description

• Manage and enhance the Operational Risk framework across investment, treasury and payment-related activities.
• Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, RCSAs, KRIs and ongoing monitoring across key operational processes.
• Assess operational risks relating to payment activities, including transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation and associated controls.
• Identify control gaps, recommend practical enhancements and work closely with stakeholders to drive remediation initiatives.
• Provide Operational Risk guidance across investment and operational functions while supporting continuous improvement of the overall risk and control environment.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 8 years of relevant Operational Risk experience within asset management, investment management, family office or a closely related investment environment .
• Strong experience assessing operational risks and controls across payment operations, transaction processing, settlement and reconciliation.
• Good understanding of investment operations, treasury activities and the associated operational risk and control environment.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to operate independently, take ownership and work effectively across investment, finance, treasury and operational functions.
