Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in operational risk in a financial institution.
• Familiar with MAS regulations and guidelines (Risk Management, Business Continuity, Outsourcing).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience dealing with regulators and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and execution of Operational Risk Policy and Guidelines in line with regulatory requirements (incidents, NPAs, BCP, Outsourcing, KRIs).
• Support formulation of Group’s Risk Appetite framework and present operational risk reports to senior management.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide Operational Risk advisory across products and services.
• Conduct Operational Risk Stress Testing per MAS 637 requirements.
• Manage regulator and audit reviews and inquiries.

Job Description:

• Assist with the development and execution of Operational Risk Policy and Guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements for areas like Operational Risk Incidents, New Product Assessments (NPA), Business Continuity Management, Outsourcing, Risk & Control Self-Assessments and Key Risk Indicators
• Assist Team Lead in formulating Group’s Risk Appetite framework and presenting respective operational risk reports to senior management
• Partner with stakeholders and provide Operational Risk advisory across all products and services
• Conduct Operational Risk Stress Testing in accordance with MAS 637 requirements
• Manage regulator, external/internal auditors reviews and queries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with 8+ years of relevant hands on experience in operational risk in a Financial Institution.
• Familiar with related MAS regulations such as Guidelines on Risk Management Practices, Guideline on Business Continuity Management, Guideline on Outsourcing and other relevant guidance
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to details
• Experience in dealing with regulators, external and internal auditors
