Job summary

NES Fircroft, a major Oil & Energy client in Singapore, is seeking a Lab Chemical Analyst to support production and operational testing. You will deliver accurate analytical results to inform operational decisions and drive improvements in laboratory support.

The role involves initiating new developments, managing complex analytical projects, challenging proposals for fit-for-purpose deliverables, and maintaining compliance with quality systems and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum poly diploma or ITE qualification required.
• Experience in analytical or chemical laboratory environment.
• Lab testing experience for operational and production support.
• Ability to interpret test results and communicate findings to operations.

Responsibilities

• Support production and operational testing requirements.
• Deliver accurate and timely analytical results to support operational decision-making.
• Initiates the implementation of new developments to further improve the laboratory support.
• Performs complex analytical projects (including project proposals) in an effective way.
• Challenges project proposals to ensure deliverables are fit for purpose for operation.
• Realizes ongoing improvements (efficiency and quality) of methods routinely applied.
• Maintains compliance with laboratory quality systems, testing procedures, and HSE requirements.
