Job summary

Amazon Asia-Pacific Resources Private Limited (Singapore) is seeking an OE Process Engineer (Software Development) to partner with internal and external customers, developing software to streamline operations and drive efficiencies at AWS data centers in Singapore. You will manage the full software lifecycle, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

• Experienced in Python, JavaScript, CICD and CDK.
• Suggest & develop tools to reduce efforts and improve operational efficiencies using lean tools and software development skills.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for internal and external customers (e.g., Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Database Engineers, Technical Operations) and Hardware Vendors, Contractors and Service Providers.
• Identify waste with stakeholders and drive reductions through standardization, innovation and simplification.
• Develop software applications as a key tool to advance operational excellence within teams.
• Handle the complete software development lifecycle: defining, prioritising, designing, building, and testing new features.

Key job responsibilities

A n OE Process Engineer (Software Development) may be the primary point of contact for both internal customers (for example: Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Database Engineers, Technical Operations) and external customers (Hardware Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers among others).

You will be working with various stakeholders to identify waste and working with teams to reduce/eliminate these wastes through standardization, innovation and simplification. Developing software applications would be one of the key tools used to advance operational excellence within the teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Experienced in Python, JavaScript, CICD and CDK
• Suggest & develop tools to reduce efforts and improve operational efficiencies using lean tools and software development skills
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
