What the role is:

You will play a vital role in supporting SID’s mission of protecting Singapore. You will develop plans and strategies to drive operational outcomes to defend and advance Singapore’s national interests.

What you will be working on:

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure delivery of mission outcomes
• Develop plans and strategies to deliver mission outcomes
• Conduct research and analysis on geopolitical developments to identify, evaluate and recommend operational opportunities
• Gather and review performance metrics related to operational outcomes, identify factors for success or failure and recommend improvements
• Conduct risk assessment and management to achieve operational outcomes in a safe and sustainable manner
• If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to:
  • Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team
  • Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind
  • Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and technical areas
  • Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential
