Overview
The Cleaning Supervisor oversees several project sites and their team of cleaners and cleaning tasks. He/She supervises cleaners to carry out their work. He/She inspects the work area cleaned by cleaners. He/She manages work schedule of cleaners and reallocate work to cover absences. He/She ensures all cleaning equipment is well maintained and is safe for use. He/She checks on the stock level of cleaning materials and equipment. He/She must also be able to perform cleaning duties.
Responsibilities
- Check cleaning equipment condition.
- Coach Service team.
- Coordinate and liaise with clients at worksite. To attend to clients’ complaints promptly.
- Facilitate effective communication and engagement at the workplace.
- Handle complaints and feedback from clients.
- Handle reassignment of tasks when needed.
- Identify training needs for all cleaning staff. A hands-on supervisor to manage a team of cleaning staff. Train cleaners and team leaders on service standards and provide help and guidance when necessary.
- Implement work plans.
- Inspect work done by cleaners daily.
- Interact and build relationship with customers.
- Monitor and follow up on compliance with cleaning procedures, workplace safety and tender specifications.
- Monitor cleaning material stock level and re-order materials when needed. Responsible for daily cleaning operation and ensure the crockery are wash in time and return to customers.
- Plan out work schedule for cleaners.
- Provide help and guidance to immediate reports.
- Solve operational problems and make decisions.
- Submit daily cleanliness report.
- Supervise team of cleaners in their assigned task. Supervise multiple teams of cleaners in multiple cleaning projects.
- Train cleaners and team leaders on service standards.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment and good knowledge of cleaning process and chemical usage.
- Ensure full compliance of cleaning and hygiene quality standards.
- Managing of stock inventory, cleaning equipment & tool.
- Upkeep cleaning records.
- Any other administration/operation duties may be assigned on ad hoc basis.
- Assist and ensure the crockery are pack & put in correct containers for driver to return to customers.
- Plan and arrange monthly Duty Roster.
- Assist all work assign to you during operating hours.
- Assist in planning work schedules and deployment of manpower.
- Monitor and follow up on compliance with cleaning procedures, workplace safety and tender specifications.

- Able to work in wet, fast pace environment and team work.
- Able to work rotate shift
- Require to work on Weekend and Public holidays
- 24/7 stanby for any ad hoc duties
- Initiative and keenness to learn
- Willing to work outdoor (some projects might included outdoor environment)
- Supervising multiple team of cleaners for different projects.
