Job description
Terminal Operations
  • Manage day-to-day operations to deliver quality service and output
  • Integrate processes across multiple shifts to ensure operational continuity
  • Act as Site Main Controller in the absence of the Terminal Manager
  • Lead service delivery planning, execution, and post-operation analysis
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Use data analytics to improve operations
  • Coordinate internal and customer communication for operational needs
  • Ensure readiness for customer audits and project commissioning
  • Plan and manage plant shutdowns and recommissioning
  • Support innovation and pilot project implementation
Resource & Budget Management
  • Develop and manage annual business plans and forecasts
  • Lead manpower deployment and shift scheduling
  • Manage operational budgets and drive cost-efficiency
  • Support commercial teams in feasibility assessments for new products/projects
  • Drive energy and cost-saving initiatives aligned with sustainability goals
Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and company standards
  • Address and resolve non-compliance issues
  • Ensure employees receive proper SHE training
  • Promote and sustain a proactive SHE culture within the team
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and update SWPs, SWIs, and safety procedures
  • Manage process safety risk, product quality issues, and contamination incidents
  • Act as Process Owner for SWP, SWI, Stock Management, and Accuracy
Leadership & People Development
  • Train, mentor, and develop the operations team
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and development planning
  • Drive organizational discipline and employee engagement
  • Manage staffing levels, onboarding, and back-up systems
  • Handle team relations and promote a collaborative work culture
Requirements
  • With 6–9 years of experience in a similar operational role within the terminal, petrochemical, or industrial plant environment
  • At least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in leading teams and driving operational change
  • Familiarity with DCS operations, petroleum/petrochemical systems, utilities, tanks, pipelines, and jetty operations preferred
