Job description

Job Title: Operation Executive (ID4634)

Location:

Pandan Cres

Working Hours:

Mon to Fri 9.00am-6.00pm

Salary:

$3000-$3500

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for sourcing spare parts or components for our product/system, purchasing, and expediting orders to meet the schedule, including handling import/export shipping documentation, Certificates of Origin, LC negotiation, etc.
  2. Source suppliers of components of technical products & systems, office equipment, etc.
  3. Handle and support daily purchasing routines and negotiate prices with suppliers.
  4. Maintain and update the Approved Vendor List regularly.
  5. Plan and execute material purchases to ensure availability to meet customer requests and production plans.
  6. Follow up and liaise with suppliers and forwarding agents to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.
  7. Process and update documents in the system (POs, invoices, acknowledgment receipts, etc.).
  8. Manage all import/export documentation and procedures.
  9. Handle import/export shipments, including LC shipments, ensuring timely shipping and receipt of goods.
  10. Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure order fulfillment and manage shipping inquiries, maintaining legal and customs compliance.
  11. Coordinate with internal departments like production and warehouse regarding cargo readiness.
  12. Monitor shipment status, coordinate with suppliers, shipping agents, and customers.
  13. Check and update freight invoices, ensuring competitive shipping costs and proper tracking.
Job Requirements:
  1. GCE “O”/”A” Level or Diploma in Logistics/Shipping or related discipline.
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics planning and shipping documentation.
  3. Good understanding of import/export processes, Incoterms, and requirements of free trade agreements (Form D/E).
