Job description

THE ROLE

Cargo operations including Quantity & Quality control, vessel operations, vessel vetting, instructions on loading/discharging/ inspections, demurrage management, cargo insurance matters, letter of credit checking and related troubleshooting.
Responsible for overseeing biofuels operations, including storage management, inventory control, demand forecasting, and coordination of transportation logistics for both export and domestic shipments.
Manage all loading and unloading activities via tankers, container vessels, and trucks.
Ensure smooth handling of shipment documentation, customs clearance, trucking arrangements, and insurance coverage.
Manage and verify the accurate and timely issuance and receipt of all incoming and outgoing POS for ISCC purposes.
Blending operations, blending component evaluations, instructions on blending/inspections, inventory management & projection, knowledge in cargo sampling & testing, related documentation and related troubleshooting.
Record/update the database related to the above transactions
Other ad hoc assignments

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors’ Degree from a recognised university
3-7 years of working experience in oil/gas trading company with hands-on experience in cargo and vessel operations
Familiar in handling biofuel/ edible oil cargo shipment.
Knowledge in Maritime law
Ability to work independently & professionally, as well as being a good team player with good communication skills
