Job summary

Peoplebank Asia is seeking an Operations Executive for a fixed-term assignment in Singapore's East Region. The role involves supporting trade capture, documentation, and risk rating approvals while ensuring smooth derivatives lifecycle management.

You will provide analytical and administrative support to sales and product desks, minimize processing risk, and assist with audits. Training and onboarding will be part of the duties, with exposure to peak periods and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support trade capture management, trade documentation, and securing approvals for product risk rating and loanable value.
• Ensure seamless derivative trade lifecycle event management.
• Provide analytical and administrative support to sales teams, product desks, and business execution teams regarding derivatives and securities transactions.
• Minimize processing risk, perform root cause analysis of discrepancies or spikes in trade positions, and ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
• Escalate issues in a timely manner and oversee client and business ad-hoc queries and requirements.
• Provide informal guidance and/or on-the-job training to team members.
• Support the team during peak volume periods and staff absences, including onboarding and training of new employees.
• Proactively work with Tech teams to resolve production issues.
• Participate in UAT testing, including reviewing test cases and/or test evidence.
