My client is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Credit Derivatives Operations Analyst. In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in managing operational risk, ensuring seamless trade processing, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with clients, sales/trading desks, and other stakeholders to resolve open inquiries and issues.
  • Oversee operational risk throughout the trade processing lifecycle for structured and flow credit derivatives post-trade execution.
  • Become a subject matter expert to mitigate risks and improve workflows.
  • Manage real-time trade booking exceptions between trading desks and sales teams.
  • Partner with technology and business teams to enhance systems and streamline processes.
  • Stay engaged in industry and regulatory initiatives to ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Continuously review and improve processes to maximize timeliness, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience in financial services or investment banking
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and creative approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of credit derivatives and current regulatory frameworks (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to remain composed and solution-oriented under pressure.
  • 2-5 years of experience in finance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Excel, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
This is a 6 month contract with possibilities of extension or conversion.
