Job summary

HARMONY NEW GREEN CONSTRUCTION (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. invites applications for a senior technical manager to lead on-site civil construction projects in Singapore.

You will review drawings, organize technical disclosures, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and standards while coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields, with at least 5 years of construction technical management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering or construction-related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years relevant construction technical management experience.
• Familiar with construction specifications, drawing review, scheme preparation, site quality control and technical acceptance procedures.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings, good capability to analyse and resolve site technical problems.
• Good written & verbal communication in English and Chinese, able to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Strong sense of responsibility, good coordination ability, capable of working under project pressure.
• Willing to stay onsite for long-period work; able to learn and operate parentcompany domestic business systems.

Responsibilities

• Take overall technical responsibility for construction project, review construction drawings, organize drawing review and technical disclosure.
• Compile, examine and approve construction organization plan and special construction schemes, formulate technical measures for quality and WSH safety.
• Solve complex onsite technical problems, supervise key construction procedures, organize concealedwork inspection and divisionalsection acceptance.
• Ensure construction complies with drawing requirements, specifications and relevant standards; handle technical issues arising from design variations.
• Be in charge of technical document compilation, sortingout and filing, participate in quality defect investigation and formulate rectification proposals.
• Liaise with client, consultant, subcontractors on all technical matters, provide professional technical support for project execution.
• Learn and comply with domestic business management requirements, master and operate business systems of Chinabased parent company.
• Complete other technicalrelated tasks assigned by management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering or construction-related disciplines
