Job summary

dtcpay, a MAS licensed payment service provider, seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud and Kubernetes foundations supporting our engineering teams, with secure, self-service tooling and robust deployment workflows.

You will work with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable platforms, integrate security into the lifecycle, and lead incident reviews. The role is based on-site in Singapore.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in software, backend, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Strong Go or Python skills with production software experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure in production.
• Solid Linux and TCP/IP fundamentals; familiarity with networking concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC tools such as Terraform; production deployments.
• Experience integrating security tools into engineering workflows; policy as code.
• Product mindset to build usable platform tools for engineers.
• Clear communication and incident management skills; bilingual English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud and Kubernetes platform capabilities including provisioning and upgrades.
• Develop self-service platform tools in Go or Python, APIs, CLIs, operators, and automation.
• Improve delivery workflows with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps tools.
• Integrate security into the development lifecycle with scanning, secrets management, and image signing.
• Design and troubleshoot networking and runtime components and traffic across environments.
• Build observability through metrics, logs, and alerts for platform services.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to improve developer experience.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead blameless post-incident reviews.
• Mentor engineers and help establish platform engineering standards.
