Job summary

Join DevOps is seeking a DevOps Lead to head a Cloud Platform team in Singapore. This role blends people leadership with hands-on depth across AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD to evolve a scalable platform with self-service tooling and strong guardrails.

The candidate will drive platform reliability, security, and cost optimization while championing a culture of ownership and high-velocity delivery.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience with AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and observability.
Experience managing engineers and driving cross-team collaboration.
Strong systems and cloud fundamentals with sharp troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience with networking and databases (Postgres, Redshift), plus scripted automation and internal tooling.
Exposure to regulated and/or audited environments (PCI-DSS, SOC2, ISO27001).

Responsibilities

Own and refine the cloud platform roadmap based on stakeholder input and technical vision.
Design and evolve the platform with a bias toward self-service and paved-road tooling.
Champion a "you build it, you own it" culture through guardrails, tooling, and observability.
Ensure platform reliability, security, and quality across infrastructure, code, and documentation.
Drive improvements in scalability, automation, performance, CI/CD, and self-service.
Balance cost optimization (FinOps) against reliability, velocity, and performance.
