Job summary

PLT engineering GmbH in Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to shape how we move data from source to decision. You will build and industrialize data pipelines across our layered data architecture, and serve as the engineering point of contact for business needs.

You will run multiple pipelines (ETL, streaming, batch) using Python and SQL, collaborate with backend engineers on migrations, ensure data quality and SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with production pipelines.
• Experience with data warehouses and reporting needs.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and scale production data pipelines (ETL, streaming, batch) using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements.
• Ensure data architecture meets reporting and SLA needs.
• Improve data quality and efficiency across pipelines.
• Coordinate migrations with backend engineers during platform cutovers.
