Job summary

NSEARCH GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer on a contract basis in Singapore to design and maintain large-scale data pipelines, including batch and real-time processing.

You will collaborate with project managers, data scientists, and analysts to deliver data-driven products and ensure CI/CD practices. The role requires strong data modelling, SQL, Python, and experience with data integration tools and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Data Mart / Data Lake / Data Warehouse design.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and data cleaning.
• Experience with REST APIs and data interchange formats.
• Hands-on ETL tools knowledge: Talend, Informatica, IBM DataStage.

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and flow; web scraping may be involved.
• Design, build, launch and maintain large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Visualisation Developer, Data Scientist, UX Designers and Data Analyst.
• Work in an Agile environment with CI/CD practices.
• Support data management standards, policies and procedures.
• Engage in pair programming and code reviews.
