Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an on-site supervisor to oversee contractor activities during road closures, ensuring safety and compliance with approved plans.

You will verify Traffic Control Plan implementation, manage electrical isolation, and witness lifting operations with qualified personnel, all while maintaining exclusion zones. The role requires 5+ years in field safety, WSHO certification preferred, and a valid driving licence with own vehicle advantageous.

Qualifications

• Field safety supervision experience on roadside electrical and traffic systems.
• Experience with night works under road closures is an advantage.
• Possession of MOM-registered WSHO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site contractor activities during approved road closures.
• Verify correct implementation of Traffic Control Plan before works begin.
• Ensure electrical isolation or de-energisation is completed and certified.
• Witness lifting plans, gantry dismantling, and ensure exclusion zones are maintained.
• Monitor progress to meet 0500 hrs reopening deadline and full reinstatement.
• Conduct safety inspections and document non-conformities for follow-up.
• Submit nightly site reports to Project Engineer for weekly progress.
