Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Singapore is seeking an experienced OCS/OCR Engineer to supervise on-site installation and testing for Overhead Catenary Systems and power supply equipment on large MRT projects across the Asia Pacific region. The role involves design support, coordination with civil contractors, client meetings, and follow-up with suppliers.

Responsibilities include preparing method statements, conducting risk assessments, documenting tests, leading on-site teams, and ensuring safe working

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in installation, planning or construction of power supply systems for rail transit and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare method statements for installation of Power Supply Equipment and OCS/OCR related works.
• Carry out installation risk assessments
• Prepare test documentation and defines pass/fail criteria
• Supervise installation of OCS/OCR and Power Supply Equipment
• Testing and Commissioning of the Power Supply Equipment
• Attend operational meetings with operator
