Job summary

SEARCH STAFFING SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks an Electrical Field Technician to troubleshoot controllers, electrical panels and assemblies at customer sites. The role requires working at customer locations with adherence to site rules and safety standards.

Key tasks include troubleshooting, corrective actions, documentation, and referencing wiring schematics. Candidates should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, plus hands-on experience with testing and panel assembly operations.

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field.
Electrical background or prior manufacturing floor experience (assembly, verification and inspection).
Ability to comply with all safety standards and WSH regulations.
Mechanical/electrical sub‑assembly knowledge.
Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical layouts and schematics.
Familiarity with Red Tag / Non‑conformance tagging systems.
Able to understand and apply work instructions.
Proficient with common hand and power tools (drills, torque tools).
Experience in testing department and knowledge of panel assembly operations.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting of panels, controls, and electrical assemblies.
Conduct corrective actions or repairs using approved equipment and methods.
Document findings and corrective actions accurately (logs, forms, photos, video).
Refer to assembly drawings and schematics.
Comply with LOTO procedures.
Complete documentation requirements (paper and electronic).
Provide reports on the same day as repairs are conducted.
Connect and disconnect cables, harnesses, and test interfaces.
