Job summary

GREENMARK CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Officer to support the Safety Manager in enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards on construction projects. The role focuses on statutory compliance and aerodrome safety requirements, with emphasis on on-site risk controls and incident reporting.

Responsibilities include inspections, incident investigations, coordination with authorities and consultants, and ensuring PPE usage and adherence to safety procedures across projects.

Qualifications

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM (Ministry of Manpower).
• Experience developing Risk Management Implementation Plans (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry & LTA.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Manager in managing safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters to ensure project compliance with statutory obligations and aerodrome safety standards.
• Implement health, safety, and environmental controls to ensure all work follows established procedures and instructions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, authorities, agencies, and consultants to support safety management activities.
• Prepare and submit daily situation reports to track safety performance and incidents.
• Conduct daily inspections of health, safety, and environmental conditions on-site, document findings, and coordinate with Project Safety Team and contractors to resolve issues.
• Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents, document findings accurately on relevant forms.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and strictly follow all safety procedures.
• Implement and monitor safety measures in compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Safety Management System.
• Identify and highlight training or certification needs to meet legislative standards, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance.
