Position Summary
The Online Channel Sales Lead will be responsible for driving the performance and growth of Samsung’s online sales channels, with a key focus on the Domestic Appliance product category. This role is pivotal in achieving sales targets, optimizing customer acquisition, and improving overall channel performance on Samsung.com. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage data-driven insights to deliver revenue growth, improve conversion rates, and elevate the customer experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Sales: Drive and grow home appliance and air conditioner category sales through strategic initiatives across Samsung.com and key marketplaces, including campaigns, launches, and ongoing performance optimization.
- Flagship Launches and Campaign Execution: Plan and execute flagship product launches and promotional campaigns tailored to the Singapore market’s landscape, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Global, Regional Performance Marketing, PR, Corporate Marketing, and Southeast Asia/Oceania sales subsidiaries to secure support, investment, and alignment for initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Analyze key sales and performance metrics, including revenue, traffic, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs. Use insights to optimize campaigns, pricing strategies, and site usability to maximize results.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the central coordinator between local teams and regional stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of D2C initiatives and consistency in brand and sales strategies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 6-7 years of experience in eCommerce sales, D2C channel management, or online business development, preferably in consumer electronics industry.
- Proven ability to plan and execute product launches and promotional campaigns to drive sales growth.
- Experience collaborating across regional and global teams, with strong stakeholder management skills to secure alignment and investment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs such as revenue, conversion rates, and traffic performance and using insights to optimize results.
- Proficiency in eCommerce platforms, data tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau), and campaign management processes.
- Highly organized, results-driven, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
