Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our oncology specialist clinic. You will work with doctors and the clinic team to deliver quality patient care, coordinate treatments and investigations, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Oncology experience is an advantage, but experienced nurses in general clinical care are welcome. Regular hours, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday; no shift work required, and good career progression with perks.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with SNB registration.
• BCLS and AED certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily patient consultations and clinic operations with doctors and the clinic team.
• Prepare patients for consultations including blood collection and investigations.
• Perform venepuncture, cannulation and Port-a-Cath access/care as required.
• Trace and follow up on investigation and laboratory results.
• Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments per clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Dispense medications and provide patient education on medications and treatments.
• Monitor patients during treatment and provide nursing care and emotional support.
• Coordinate appointments, investigations, referrals and follow-up arrangements.
• Monitor inventory of medications and supplies and assist with stock management.
• Coordinate servicing and preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate nursing and patient records.
• Provide financial counselling to patients including cost estimates and insurance matters.
• Participate in after-hours patient support when rostered.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the clinic.
