On-Site Support Engineer (Audio-visual Engineer)

Benefits Summary:

1. Permanent position
2. $3,000 - $4,000
3. Mon - Fri (8.00am - 5.00pm) - Saturday (9.00am - 1.00pm)
4. East side (Changi and Tampines) / Central and Raffles Region

Responsibilities:

AV & VC Setup & Support

1. Assist in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audio-visual, video conferencing, and presentation systems
2. Provide on-site technical support during internal and external meetings/events

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

1. Conduct routine equipment checks and diagnostics
2. Perform basic repairs and escalate major faults to vendors or technical teams
3. Carry out scheduled room checks and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime

Equipment Handling

1. Clean, store, and maintain AV and media equipment properly
2. Monitor and operate AV systems during meetings (e.g., sound levels, video feeds, camera controls, streaming)

Documentation & Reporting

1. Complete service logs, maintenance records, and incident reports accurately and on time
2. Raise service tickets and follow up on faulty equipment

Team Collaboration

1. Work closely with the AV/IT team to resolve issues
2. Assist with first-line fault resolutions and support escalations

Additional Information:

Education & Qualifications

1. Diploma in Engineering (Computer, Telecommunication, or related field) or equivalent
2. Proficient in English (spoken and written)

Experience & Skills

1. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in AV system operations, engineering, or installation
2. Strong understanding of audio, video, and networking engineering fundamentals
3. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
4. Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage stressful situations effectively

Certifications (preferred)

1. Industry certifications in one or more of the following:
2. Crestron, Zoom, QSC, Cisco, Shure, Poly
