Job summary

Commtech Asia in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer/Commissioning Engineer to lead project delivery and coordinate with the commissioning team on site, ensuring testing, commissioning and handover meet client expectations.

The role requires hands-on experience with MEP systems, strong English communication, and the ability to work on-site in a multinational environment. Suitable for engineers with a proactive mindset and a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred but will consider Mechanical and Building Services Engineering or related discipline in engineering
• Have the right to work in Singapore
• Comfortable to work on-site
• Relevant working experience in MEP systems, building services coordination and/or testing & commissioning process with multi-national corporate exposure
• Hands-on knowledge of PC applications such as MSOffice, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit
• Good command of written and spoken English and detail oriented
• Reliable and proactive working attitude not afraid to make decisions
• Self-motivated and believe in continuous improvement
• Can manage their time effectively, drive results, building trust and positive partnerships
• Good communication / interpersonal and negotiation skills to handle all stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Assist Managers in ensuring the successful implementation of projects
• Undertake all testing and commissioning activities from factory tests to integrated systems tests in the final stage of projects
• Monitor site progress and coordinate site meetings
• Attend site meetings and address technical queries from clients
• Review and track vendor responses and method statements
• Witness contractor testing and commissioning results and confirm compliance
• Handle project administration and documentation tasks
• Support HS&E compliance through PPE use, hazard reporting, documentation assistance, and safe work practices
• Manage project administration and documentation
