Job summary

CRAFTSMAN ENGINEERING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Electrical/Automation professional to conduct on-site inspections and manage electrical system installations from design to close-out.

You will develop shop drawings, coordinate submissions for approval, and guide site teams to ensure quality and schedule adherence. The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical or control systems, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project/P6, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control (full‑time)
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical or control systems across design, construction, commissioning, and settlement
• Familiarity with electrical drawing development, construction management, system commissioning, and project settlement
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and standard office software (Word, Excel, MS Project, P6)
• Strong communication and coordination skills with site teams and stakeholders
• Ability to resolve on-site technical issues promptly to minimize delays
• Willingness to work on project sites and adapt to project timelines

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of electrical system installation to ensure compliance with specifications
• Develop detailed electrical shop drawings and coordinate submissions for approval
• Guide site workers in construction execution based on approved drawings
• Set up and maintain professional construction schedules using project management software
• Prepare Excel-based bar charts and a 3-week rolling schedule for tracking
• Manage material submittals, pricing inquiries, and source materials
• Inspect quantities and receiving of materials for accuracy and quality
• Participate in meetings and prepare clear meeting minutes
• Support tendering activities including quantity take-offs and cost compilation
• Coordinate with QAQC teams to support inspection and acceptance throughout all stages
• Oversee punch-list items and close-out activities across disciplines
