Job summary
MTS Systems Engineering PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a LTSA Service Resident Engineer to act as Huawei’s on-site technical authority for the Smart String Energy Storage System.
You will be embedded at the customer's facility to maximize system availability and ensure LTSA compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring BESS components (battery packs, PCS, SACU, EMS), performing preventive maintenance, coordinating firmware upgrades, and delivering training and handover to customer personnel in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or Automation.
- 1–2 years field service experience; BESS experience is a plus.
- Hands-on troubleshooting with inverters, battery racks, and control systems (SACU/SPPC).
- Proficiency reading electrical schematics, P&IDs and single-line diagrams.
- Familiarity with Huawei FusionSolar and digital O&M platforms.
Responsibilities
- Operational & Technical Oversight: health checks, preventive maintenance on BESS components.
- Fault Diagnosis & RCA: lead root cause analysis and emergency troubleshooting.
- Outage Management: coordinate overhauls and firmware upgrades per LTSA scope.
- Contractual Adherence & KPI Tracking: monitor performance, MTTR, and availability.
- Customer Liaison & Training: training and handover to customer personnel.
