Job summary

Mandai Wildlife Group in Singapore is seeking a Full-time, on-site Food Preparation Assistant to support the animal feeding program. You will work with the Animal Feed team to prepare diets and ensure accuracy and safety.

Duties include preparing animal diets as formulated, following SOPs, performing quality checks, and reporting issues. Candidate must have at least GCE N levels, be able to lift up to 25kg, and work on weekends and holidays, outdoors when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'N' levels and above.
• Heavy lifting up to 25kg required.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work outdoors where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Animal Feed Assistant and Senior Animal Feed Assistant in preparing the food for animals and performing food quality check.
• Prepare the diets formulated by Wildlife Nutritionist.
• Diets are precisely prepared based on the correct items, weight and quantity on the diet sheets.
• Follow all existing SOPs while performing food preparation, including wearing PPE and work safety.
• Practice good kitchen hygiene to minimize poor quality risks.
• Understand the quality check procedure and standards, reject food when they do not meet requirements.
• Report to supervisor of food quality issues.
