Royal Ocean Marine is searching for a driven and knowledgeable Offshore Technical Manager to join our client's team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the technical operations and maintenance of our offshore fleet, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with maritime regulations.

Your expertise will contribute to the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our vessels, leading initiatives that enhance operational excellence and technical performance. You will be the key liaison between various departments, ensuring that maintenance and repair activities are carried out effectively and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all technical operations of offshore vessels
  • Ensure the compliance of vessels with national and international maritime safety and environmental regulations
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Supervise and provide guidance to engineering and technical teams
  • Monitor vessel performance and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Plan and oversee dry-dockings, repairs, and upgrades
  • Review technical documentation and reports to ensure quality and compliance
  • Facilitate communication between departments to support operational objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in technical management within the offshore industry
  • Proven track record in managing technical teams and project execution
  • Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
