The Hook-up Operations Manager is responsible for the coordination of the hook-up activities on projects during the project execution considering the preparatory engineering phase, procurement plan for equipment and tools, definition of procurement services and in charge of the coordination of the topside operations (Offshore Substation).
Supply hook-up technical expertise for the project.
Support and coordinate the offshore execution phase, considering assistance during the preparatory engineering phase as well.
Participate in the recruitment of hook-up staff as per project requirement and workload.
Prepare hook-up procedures, work sequences, man-hours estimates, and planning development including MOB/DEMOB plans of the project.
Define and follow the Mobilization/Demobilization plan of personnel, materials, and equipment required for the project.
Define the Procurement plan for the project relative to equipment, materials, consumables, and subcontractor needs.
Follow-up on procurement, utilization, maintenance, and storage of the hook-up equipment and tools during project execution.
Monitor hook-up consumables on the project.
Perform hook-up site visits as required.
Interface and coordinate with the Engineering Department for constructability reviews, review of hook-up procedures, manpower planning, schedule preparation, hook-up staff recruitment, and mobilization.
Coordinate with the HR Department for staff and manpower recruitment and mobilization.
Coordinate with the Client on offshore vessel operations.
Collaborate with the Offshore HUC Contractor on procurement of equipment, tools, and consumables, as well as assistance to sub-contracting.
Externally coordinate with the Client regarding the scope of work, planning, procedures, and overall organization for the project.
Externally coordinate with suppliers or subcontractors when required as per project and operations requirements.
