Job summary

Oil States Industries (Asia) PTE LTD is seeking an Offshore Field Technician to support offshore operations including wellhead removal, abrasive water jet cutting, casing/tubular running, and subsea intervention activities.

You will execute tasks safely and efficiently, work on plug and abandonment campaigns, and collaborate with offshore teams to ensure successful project execution. A technical diploma or cert and offshore experience are essential, with BOSIET/HUET preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Offshore Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience offshore in upstream oil & gas, drilling, well intervention, or decommissioning operations.
• Experience with casing/tubular running operations is essential.
• Experience with abrasive water jet cutting and wellhead removal is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with subsea intervention and offshore construction activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Physically fit and willing to work offshore.
• Valid offshore certifications such as BOSIET, HUET, Medical Certificate, and offshore survival training preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Execute offshore operations safely and efficiently in accordance with company and client procedures.
• Support plug and abandonment (P&A), wellhead removal, and decommissioning campaigns.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot abrasive water jet cutting and other specialized offshore equipment.
• Perform casing and tubular running activities as part of drilling, completion, or abandonment operations.
• Conduct equipment inspections, maintenance, testing, and repairs.
• Complete operational reports and maintain accurate job records.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and participate in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
• Liaise with offshore supervisors, engineers, and client representatives to ensure successful project execution.
