Job summary

A leading HR management company in Singapore is looking for a Payroll Officer. Responsibilities include ensuring timely payroll processing, managing audits, and handling employee queries. Candidates should have a minimum Diploma in HR Management, 2-3 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure are essential. Familiarity with SAP Payroll is a plus.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll for the company
  • Ensure all monthly or adhoc payments and deductions are correctly updated into the payroll system
  • Ensure prompt statutory submissions and payments and annual tax filling for the company such as IR21 and IR8A
  • Ensure prompt and accurate processing of government claims, eg.NS reservist claims,
  • Handle payroll audit and liaison with internal and external auditors
  • Manage queries from employees, Business HR and Finance
  • Assist in user acceptance testing for system fix/ enhancement
Requirement:
  • Minimum Diploma in HR Management or Business related discipline
  • 2 - 3years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and statutory submissions such as IR21 tax submission
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Able to meet deadline, meticulous and accurate
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of SAP Payroll will be an added advantage
