We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, APAC FX Middle Office Senior Analyst - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Securities & Derivatives Intmd Analyst– C11) based in Singapore. In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading specifically related to FX & Option businesses in Hub locations - Australia/Hong Kong/Singapore
  • Supporting lifecycle activities – Fixing, Expiry, Allocation, Amendment/Cancellation, Novation, and interaction with Business, Firm’s Clients, Operations and Technology to manage post execution issues
  • Perform control functions based on intermediary processing systems and records
  • Complete daily tasks timely and accurately
  • Ensure the desk is in compliant with internal and external regulations at all times
  • Assist Team Lead in all their duties as required
  • Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies, in conjunction with professional judgement to make process improvement recommendations
  • Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
  • Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms
  • Monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank
  • Provide informal guidance, and/or on the job training to new team members
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Hybrid working model with 3 days working in office. The candidate needs to be able to support Australia time zone shift when required.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated comprehension of FX products, accounting and regulatory policies
  • Team oriented personality, thrives in a team environment and can also work independently
  • Self-motivation, flexibility, and a strong desire to succeed
  • Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a fast pace environment
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skill
  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
