Role: NPHC Rule Developer

We are seeking highly motivated individuals skilled in Rules Development to join us for exciting projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create solutions in both digital and physical realms, aiming to improve public service usability and societal impact rather than commercial ventures.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret written requirements and technical specifications.
  • Code software following standards and design guidelines.
  • Educate the team on ODM best practices.
  • Manage ODM server/node administration.
  • Work with ODM products: Rule Designer, Decision Server, Decision Center.
  • Author action rules, decision tables, and orchestrate rule flows.
  • Participate as a team member in Agile environments.
Candidate Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in design, development, testing, and debugging of Rules Projects, ensuring quality and standards.
  • Experience migrating from JRules to ODM.
  • Hands-on experience with ODM, including setting up decision centers.
  • 5+ years in rule engine development or complex event processing (IBM ODM, JRules, iLog).
  • Strong communication skills for effective management-level interaction.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
  • Experience designing decision tables, decision trees, action rules, rule flows, and related components in JRules/WODM/ODM.
  • Experience deploying rule applications and rule sets.
  • Exposure to SOA and web services.
  • Experience with test-driven development (JUnit) and continuous integration.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
