Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an OCT Modeling Engineer to serve as the primary contact for the manufacturing network.

You will assess the capital impact of process changes and report findings to senior leaders in Manufacturing and R&D, connecting finance, engineering, procurement, production and planning. You will leverage AI to develop tools that expedite, optimize and refine planning and reporting across the network, interpret data, communicate clearly in ambiguous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, CS or related quantitative field.
• MBA or Master’s degree desirable.
• Experience turning ambiguous problems into structured solutions in a multi-functional environment.
• Experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions, reporting results across technical and non-technical groups.
• Experience working in teams and maintaining multi-functional relationships.
• Experience in capacity or business/process analysis is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead network tool utilization strategies and benchmark performance to optimize capital.
• Lead and communicate improvement and implementation plans across Manufacturing.
• Optimize capacity of installed equipment and lead site/tool optimization studies for throughput.
• Collaborate with partners to understand future tool and process roadmaps.
• Assess network capacity impacts of process changes.
• Improve financial analyses by automating metrics optimizations, process flexibility, capacity sharing and equipment repurpose.
• Craft reports and benchmarks to ensure department goals are met.
