Job summary

RemotePeople is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take overall responsibility for the delivery and on-site management of OCR projects. You will lead the project execution, coordinate construction activities, and ensure safety, quality, schedule and cost targets.

Strong English communication is required, and overseas project experience in railway, power or infrastructure sectors is highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven project management experience on railway, power, M&E or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, contract management, VO and claims management.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, communication and team management skills.
• Fluent English and ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Overseas project experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle for OCR projects, including project planning, execution, delivery, and acceptance, ensuring that safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets are achieved.
• Coordinate on-site construction, testing and commissioning activities, and promptly resolve technical and project management issues arising during execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective collaboration and smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, and budget performance, identify project risks, and develop appropriate mitigation measures. Provide regular project updates and reports to management and clients.
• Manage Variation Orders (VO), claims, contracts, and cost control, ensuring that the project meets its financial and commercial objectives.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take overall responsibility for the delivery and on-site management of Overhead Conductor Rail (OCR) projects. The role will oversee the entire project execution process, coordinate on-site construction activities, and manage communication among clients, design consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery in line with safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

Candidates with strong English communication skills are preferred. Experience working on overseas projects, particularly in railway, power, or infrastructure projects, will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
