The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with a Global logistics and freight forwarding company. We are looking for an Air Freight Supervisor (Import, Export) to join the team!

Reporting to the Ocean Freight Manager. The candidate play a role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of airfreight operations for the export shipments in the freight forwarding industry.

  • Permanent, Full-time opportunity
  • Location: East region, Changi South Street (Expo)
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • Salary Package: up to $4300 basic + AWS

The Job

  • Lead a team of Ocean freight import or/and export operation executives.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily ocean freight import or/and export operations, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery arrangements.
  • Monitor shipment status, proactively identify potential delays or issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Oversee the accurate preparation and processing of all required documentation, including permit, bill of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on operational procedures, system usage, and industry best practices.
  • Liaise and maintain strong relationships with airlines, ground handlers, truckers, and other vendors to optimize service levels and costs.
  • Investigate and resolve issues promptly, communicating effectively with all relevant stakeholders (clients, carriers, internal teams).


The Talent

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ocean freight operations, preferably within a freight forwarding or logistics company.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms and custom permit.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
