Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is looking for a Registered Occupational Therapist to support residents in managing their daily activities and enhance their rehabilitation. This role includes conducting assessments, leading therapy sessions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with preference given to those with experience working with the elderly.

Job description

• Basic UP $6500 (Depending on Experience) + AWS + VB (Twice a year)
• 5 days work week : 5 Days (Mon – Fri), 8:30 a.m. – 5:30pm
• Punggol

Your Responsibilities: -

• Conduct assessments, devise plans, execute, and assess the residents' abilities to manage their activities of daily living, cognitive-perceptual functions, behavior, and social skills.
• Participate in and lead orientation and in-service educational programs, training initiatives, and oversee junior staff as necessary.
• Coaching for the enhancement of activities of daily living (ADL) proficiency.
• Administer exercises, promote hand-eye coordination, and implement progressively challenging activities to enhance strength and range of motion.
• Maintain records on residents and their progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to endorse a comprehensive approach to care.

You will need: -

• Must be a registered Occupational Therapist with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Having prior experience with elderly patients is an added advantage
