A leading broadband service provider in Singapore is seeking an engineer to maintain network visibility and automate reporting. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience with monitoring stacks, scripting capabilities, and a solid understanding of networking principles. You will deploy tools, build dashboards, and generate SLA reports while working in a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
About the Role:
We deliver 24 × 7 insight into our customers’ network and service health. You’ll be the engineer who keeps that visibility sharp and the data flowing automatically into tickets and reports.
How you’ll contribute to MyRepublic’s success:
Deploy, tune and maintain collectors (SNMP, NetFlow, gNMI, OpenTelemetry) for multiple customer environments.
Build and refine Grafana / Prometheus dashboards that surface SLI/SLO performance in seconds.
Wire alerts into a Service Management tools using webhooks and Python/Bash utilities, auto-filling CI, severity and run-book links.
Generate automated weekly/monthly SLA reports (PDF/HTML) via API-driven scripts and CI/CD jobs.
Trace a network or service problem hop-by-hop until the root cause is pinned down.
Partner with Business Operations team to review performance trends and propose continuous-improvement actions.
Keep everything version-controlled in Git and documented in a run-books or knowledge base.
We think you’ll fit in great with us if you:
3–5 years operating at least one monitoring stack (Prometheus + Grafana, Datadog, Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.).
Comfortable writing small Python or Bash tools (parse JSON, call REST, generate CSV/PDF).
Solid grasp of networking basics - ICMP vs. TCP health checks, Firewall, DHCP, BGP or SD-WAN basics.
Network troubleshooting with ping, traceroute/mtr, tcpdump, Wireshark filters, VLAN/Subnet maths to isolate issues.
Hands-on with Service Management platform (Jira SM, GLPI, Freshservice).
Git fundamentals: clone, branch, resolve conflicts.
