Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Nutanix Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain robust Nutanix infrastructure solutions in a dynamic environment. You will deploy and optimize Nutanix clusters, monitor health, perform DR planning, and collaborate with IT teams to deliver enterprise-grade infrastructure projects with minimal downtime.

Your role involves coordinating with infrastructure teams, planning expansions, and ensuring high availability through robust backup and disaster

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Infrastructure/Systems Engineering or Data Center Operations.
• Expertise with enterprise virtualization platforms and HCI in production.
• Hands-on Nutanix deployment, lifecycle management, and performance tuning.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV migrations and admin.
• DR, BC, backup strategies and high availability for enterprise infra.
• NCP/NCX certifications preferred; scripting, IaC, and monitoring tools helpful.

Brief Summary: We are looking for an experienced Nutanix Engineer to design, deploy, andmaintain robust Nutanix infrastructure solutions. This role offers a uniqueopportunity to work on innovative projects within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and optimize Nutanix clusters tomeet enterprise infrastructure demands.
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot platform issues,perform root cause analysis, and implement performance enhancements.
• Plan and execute infrastructure expansion, disaster recovery (DR)implementation, and high-availability solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, project stakeholders, andbusiness users to deliver infrastructure projects while adhering to bestpractices.
• Perform virtual machine (VM) migrations between VMware ESXi andNutanix AHV, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering,Systems Engineering, Virtualization, or Data Center Operations.
• Proven expertise in supporting enterprise virtualization platformsand hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) within production settings.
• Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix infrastructure, includingcluster deployment, management, lifecycle management, and performancetuning.
• Solid experience in virtualization technologies, especially VMwareESXi and Nutanix AHV, encompassing virtual machine migration andhypervisor administration.
• Experience with implementing disaster recovery (DR), businesscontinuity, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions forenterprise infrastructure.
• Relevant Nutanix certifications such as Nutanix CertifiedProfessional (NCP) or Nutanix Certified Expert (NCX) are preferred.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Python, orAnsible), Infrastructure-as-Code, and infrastructure monitoring tools isadvantageous.
• Basic understanding of enterprise storage, networking, backupsolutions, cloud integration, and hybrid infrastructure environments is aplus.
