Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, virtualization, or data center operations.
• Proven expertise with enterprise virtualization platforms and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI).
• Strong hands-on Nutanix experience: cluster deployment, lifecycle management, performance tuning.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV, including VM migrations and hypervisor administration.
• Experience with DR, business continuity, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Nutanix Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain robust Nutanix infrastructure solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and optimize Nutanix clusters to meet enterprise infrastructure demands.
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance enhancements.
• Plan and execute infrastructure expansion, disaster recovery (DR) implementation, and high-availability solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, project stakeholders, and business users to deliver infrastructure projects while adhering to best practices.
• Perform virtual machine (VM) migrations between VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, Virtualization, or Data Center Operations.
• Proven expertise in supporting enterprise virtualization platforms and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) within production settings.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Nutanix infrastructure, including cluster deployment, management, lifecycle management, and performance tuning.
• Solid experience in virtualization technologies, especially VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV, encompassing virtual machine migration and hypervisor administration.
• Experience with implementing disaster recovery (DR), business continuity, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions for enterprise infrastructure.
• Relevant Nutanix certifications such as Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or Nutanix Certified Expert (NCX) are preferred.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Ansible), Infrastructure-as-Code, and infrastructure monitoring tools is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of enterprise storage, networking, backup solutions, cloud integration, and hybrid infrastructure environments is a plus.
