Nurse Manager / ADON (Central/East) #HJX

• Oversee the team of registered and enrolled nurses, nursing aides, healthcare assistants.

• Responsible for compliance with all nursing standards as stipulated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).

• Promote evidence-based practices in nursing care delivery.

• Ensure written policies and procedures and work processes are available and up to date to guide nursing care delivery.

• Ensure the smooth transition of residents from acute to chronic care and back to the community, where possible.

• Direct care of the residents to ensure compliance with standards.

• Ensure appropriate skills mix and adequate manpower resourcing for all shifts and types of services.

• Facilitate staff development, skills, and competency upgrading through various opportunities, including formal education, in-house training, or approved online learning programmes.

• Guide orientation/induction programmes and preceptorship for all new staff.

• Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in nursing home management.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Nursing.

2. Experience in Dementia, Palliative Care, or Medical-Surgical specialties OR candidates with an Advanced Diploma in these areas will have an added advantage.

3. 5 days work week, office hours.
