Job summary

A healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a Staff/Enrolled Nurse to lead the Infant Nursery in a Confinement Centre. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, ensuring quality care, and maintaining daily records. Entry-level candidates are welcome, with training provided, but a certification in nursing care is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is needed to communicate with Chinese-speaking clients. The role involves day or night shifts, four days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in Maternity Ward/Confinement Centre is a plus.

Staff/Enrolled Nurse welcome!

Job Responsibilities / Duties:

• To be the team lead for the Infant Nursery in a Confinement Centre.

• Provide nursing services including monitoring of patients according to protocols and standards.

• Provide quality customer service to infants/parents

• Feed infants on a predefined schedule.

• Change diapers and bathe infants

• Ensure that all items provided are clean and safe for infants to use

• Ensure that there is a constant supply of diapers and other baby products

• Maintain daily records and reports for infants

• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding infants’ progress or problems

• Support children's development of secure attachments through warm, consistent and nurturing caregiving

• Guide and support a team of Infant Care Specialists

• Day or Night shifts, 4 days week.

Education & Experience:

• Entry level are welcome to apply and training provided

• 1-2 years experience is added advantage

• Possess certification in nursing care (NITEC in Nursing or equivalent)

• Experience in the Maternity Ward/ Confinement Centre is an added advantage

• Proficient in Mandarin to communicate with Chinese-speaking clients
